USEF’s Transcript Attestation Policies

Effective March 1, 2007, the following policies apply to USEF-Nepal’s transcript attestation service:

  1. USEF reserves the right to deny attestation services to any individual without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
  2. Transcripts attested by USEF are for submission to U.S. colleges and universities only.
  3. USEF attests only transcripts and pass certificates (provisional or degree certificates) in complete sets. Semester or yearly marksheets may also be required, depending on the board.  Extra certificates, or certificates that USEF deems unnecessary for application to U.S. colleges, will not be attested. USEF does not attest migration certificates, letters of recommendation, test scores, and bank statements.
  4. Attestation charge is Rs. 25 per page.
  5. Transcripts will be returned earliest by the following business day after 12:00 noon.  Verification of some transcripts may take over one week.  Same day service for transcript attestation is not available. USEF will not be responsible for transcripts left uncollected for more than two business days.
  6. USEF-attested documents are valid for 6 months.
  7. Photocopies of USEF-attested documents are not valid.

NOTICE: USEF reserves the right to confiscate fake transcripts and other fraudulent documents and forward them to the appropriate authorities.
