Start your weekend with a fun event at USEF! USEF presents a year round American Educational Film Series with the aim of learning more about American culture through film. We will screen a movie on a Friday toward the end of each calendar month at 3:00 pm. The selected titles have been critically acclaimed in American cinema culture and/or are just good fun! A short group discussion about the movie will follow the screening. August's movie is 'THE BLIND SIDE.'
Michael Oher (Quinton Aaron) knows little about family. Less about football. What the homeless teen knows are the streets and projects of Memphis. Well-to-do Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) knows little about his world. Yet when she and Michael meet, he's found a home. And the Tuohys have found something just as life-changing: a beloved new son and brother. This real-life story of family and of Michael's growth into a blue-chip football star will have you cheering with its mix of gridiron action and heartwarming emotion. Share the remarkable journey of the college All-American and first-round NFL draft pick who was a winner before he ever stepped onto the playing field. (Amazon.com) Movie starts at 3:00 p.m. sharp and is FREE of COST! The rating on this movie is 'PG-13' To book a seat, please register in advance at USEF's front desk with your national ID. Transcript Attestation : Mark-sheet attestation service for Nepali students
Students who are applying for admission to American universities may have their transcripts ("mark-sheets") attested by USEF. Recognizing that academic institutions in Nepal and other parts of Asia do not issue second copies of transcripts, USEF has provided attestation service for over 20 years. The majority of universities in the United States will accept attested copies (in-lieu of originals) that have our office seal, the educational adviser’s signature, and an attached cover letter.
Please follow these instructions if you need to have your transcripts
attested by USEF:
- Bring all originals and photocopies of your transcripts and certificates
to our office. We will review your documents before we accept them.
- Pay the required attestation fees, currently, Rs 25 per
page.
- Return the following day to pick up your attested copies unless otherwise instructed.
Depending on which schools you attended in the past and the
origin of your transcripts, USEF may send your transcripts
to outside agencies for further verification. This may delay
the attestation process. Furthermore, USEF will attest the
following documents only:
- Mark-sheets/Transcripts
- Degree completion, provisional, or character certificates
USEF does not attest:
- Financial documents
- Standardized test scores
- Letters of recommendation
Click here to access USEF's transcript attestation policies.
U.S. institutions:
Please contact the Educational Adviser at USEF if you
have any questions about our attestation service or about
transcripts from Nepal. We can be reached by:
