![]() Many Fulbright grantees to and from Nepal speak of their grant period as a turning point or seminal experience, both academically and personally. The Fulbright Program in Nepal is almost entirely dependent on the annual allocation received from the US Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Funding levels have increased slightly in the last two years, but still lag behind the real levels that we enjoyed prior to 1995, resulting in fewer scholarship grants being made. If you would like to help expand the program so that additional scholars and students may enjoy the benefits of a Fulbright grant to or from Nepal, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support either the USEF/Nepal American Student and Senior Scholar program and/or the USEF/Nepal Nepali Student and Senior Scholar program, programs administered by USEF/Nepal in collaboration with the Institute of International Education (IIE). Your contributions should be made out to and sent to the Institute of International Education, 809 UN Plaza New York, NY 10017. Please include a cover letter in the form attached to this letter, indicating which USEF Nepal program or programs you are interested in supporting. Thank you in advance for your support.
